I have a Dewalt D24000 Wet Tile Saw and the blade I am using does not allow a full cut through a wine bottle. What type of blade do you use? Depth of cut for my saw is 31/8 ". Appreciate any help.

I'm looking for the schedule on firing recycled glass bottle rings. I want to make wind chimes. I have the rings cut and ready to fire. I have already tried to slump them and that didnt work at all.  Can you help.

 ShannaJohnsonAndrew Hi Shanna;  I use the full fuse schedule found on http://glasswithapast.com/recycled-glass-firing-schedules/  One key is the rings have to be very, very clean in order to avoid devitrification.  If the full fuse schedule doesn't work, please e-mail me a photo of your fired rings and I will try and help puzzle out what to do next.  Good luck!  Jodi

I.m doing the full fuse from the web site you sent me, can you tell me about how long the kiln should run?

Yes I do have controller, my husband had figured about 11 hours that just seemed like a long time! I don't use my kiln enough to get really good at it. I have a Evenheat kiln, it is huge...

Hi Jodi, glass fusing turned out ok. I was hoping for a bit smoother and rounder! Trying to send a picture but not sure how to.
