Gorgeous deep aqua blue Ecoresin in a substantial slab will support all of your aquatic artworks. Although the color is evocative of deep water next to a reef, this stand is also wonderful for abstract, geometric and cool color artwork. Available in large and small sizes.
Eco resin is a proprietary product of 3Form made with up to 30% recycled materials. Through a partnership with the Clever Octopus (a creative reuse center) these materials are available to artists for all sorts of projects. We like them best as stands for glass artwork!
Available in two sizes for versatility. The stainless steel rods are 1/8″ thick and coated with a clear heat shrink plastic to protect your artwork. The taller rods are about 2 1/8″ tall, and the shorter center support rod is 1/2″ tall. This rod supports your artwork one half inch above the stand.
These stands are remarkably stable for the size and are recommended for artwork up to 6″ x 8″ or a 8″ circle for the small size, for larger artworks use the larger stand. The stands are sized for artwork that is 1/4″ to 5/16″ thick (4-6mm) a standard fusing thickness for two layers of art glass or two layers of single strength float glass or one layer of 1/4″ float glass. The rods are quite sturdy with a little flex to firmly grip your artwork without squeezing it too tightly.
