Recycled Glass Classes and Workshops
Classes – multiple day in person classes that may be spread over weeks. These classes are more in depth and include many projects.
Intro to Glass Fusing
January 8 – 29
Thursday evenings, 6:30 – 9
Learn to fuse glass through a series of projects of increasing complexity. The first two weeks will be fusing recycled glass, the second two weeks will be fusible glass to give students a rounded glass fusing experience and prepare them to continue fusing no matter which glass they love. We will begin with glass cutting practice and the science of glass fusing and move to crystalline landscapes and functional ware.

Intermediate Glass Fusing
February 12 – March 5
Thursday evenings, 6:30 – 9 p.m.
Continue your glass practice with more complicated projects including silkscreening on glass and strip cut vessels. The first two weeks will be fusing with recycled glass, the last two weeks will be fusible glass. Students are encouraged to flex their design skills and create their own ideas within the framework of the projects. Past students have been ready to buy kilns and begin independently producing glass art after this class. We will spend time working through firing schedules and how to program kilns.

Workshops – one day workshops that usually focus on one type of project or technique.
Private Workshops/Events
