Classic hardwood stands for fused or stained glass artwork. Each stand is cut from mill scrap from a local furniture manufacturing firm, rescuing wood that would otherwise be landfilled. These stands are made from maple or oak, which are very stable hardwoods, needing no additional finishing or maintenance. Each stands are sanded and coated with matte finish sealer.
The stainless steel rods are 3mm” thick and coated with a clear heat shrink plastic to protect your artwork. The taller rods are 1.25″ tall, and the shorter center support rod is 1/4″ tall. This rod supports your artwork one quarter inch above the stand.
Hardwood stands are wonderful for traditional designs, and contrast beautifully with modern design pieces.
